STRATEQ Group is recognised as being a part of listed companies under TERAJU, a strategic unit under the Prime Minister's Department, which was established to drive the Bumiputera Economic Transformation Programme. This programme has allowed the organisation to grow and develop capacities, increase our competitive advantage, and reduce its reliance on the government for procurement contracts. We provide integrated solutions and services for a variety of industries including healthcare, data centres, oil and gas, banking and financial services, telecommunications, energy and utilities, education, consumer goods and manufacturing.

Legacy

STRATEQ Group has come a long way since its beginning as system integrator to become a leading Malaysian technology enabler. Known as SCS Computers in 1983, in 2004, SCS became known as Kompakar Esystems Sdn Bhd when it bought out its Singaporean partners bringing it home to Malaysia as a fully bumiputra-owned company. Singapore Exchange-listed SCS Ltd sold its 84% stake in SCS Computer Systems to Tunku Datuk Seri Shahabuddin Tunku Besar Burhanuddin, executive chairman of Sistem Kompakar Sdn Bhd, which he jointly owned with Datuk Mokhzani Tun Dr Mahathir (via Rumpun Harapan Sdn Bhd). Having gained an impeccable reputation in Malaysia, we then endeavoured to compete internationally. In 2009 Kompakar evolved and became known as STRATEQ Group. The name 'STRATEQ' is a play on the words 'strategy' and 'technology,' which signifies the combined use of strategy and technology to help our customers transform and grow their business. STRATEQ has now expanded into China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and the United States. reinforcing our commitment to delivering only the best for our cutomers in the public and private sectors that have been our partners for over 20 years.
